Step 7: Start the Conversion


Start the Conversion between MSSQL to MySQL Tutorial.

Now you'll reach the final screen to start the conversion. Click Start to begin the conversion job.

Once you press Start, the conversion job begins — the progress bar and log show the actions Data Loader is performing to convert data from MSSQL to MySQL. Once the job finishes, the Finish button becomes enabled:

You can click "Browse DB" to view the target database and verify all the data transferred properly. Here's the View Database window:

That's it! You can now click Finish. If you scheduled this session, Data Loader will automatically run it in the background — or you can run it whenever you want via "Manage Existing Sessions" and clicking Run.

You can also edit, run, or delete sessions as needed.
